A message about self-responsibility—that no one talks about—designed to stimulate critical thinking, dialog, and self-awareness of what it takes to truly achieve freedom and equality.
The first truly “Black on Black” crime caused the early African American enslavement. During the transatlantic slave trade, European slavers sailed to the continent that we call “Africa” *(see article on “Programming” for Africa’s true name) and traded goods with the Ashanti Empire* (modern-day Ghana) in exchange for kidnapped villagers and tribesmen. Ancestors were picked like fruit hanging on a tree and the Ashanti’s were able to keep the property of their neighbors. This was the beginning of slavery in America and “Black on Black” crime. Look it up.
Following this, European slavers needed people to oversee, spy on, and help manage the enslaved. Again, people bribed and programmed others to betray their own people. We know this particular ‘Black on Black’ crime is still happening today. Notice how nothing really changed. I encourage you to research individuals and organizations that publicly claim to be supportive of African-American people, yet only maintain the status quo. Do your research on the Boule Society.
Let’s fast forward into ‘modern’ time. Do you know how many ‘African-Americans’ are impacted by gun violence every day and night in cities across America? There are thousands killed every year directly or indirectly– via stray fire. We are killing each other at rate more virulent than most diseases, for often senseless reasons. Yet, there is little protest and, if so, it does not last long. However, if the ‘Black’ person is killed by a ‘white’ person, especially a police officer, we launch major protest. It is like ‘Black’ lives only matter if he/she is killed by a ‘white’ person. This is a continuation of ‘Black on Black’ crime with impunity. Check the statistics of where you live and beyond, in America.
Let’s talk about the protests for a moment. What do we hope to accomplish for our community if our community is destroyed in our rioting? We tend to predominately destroy the local Black businesses, in our communities, that were economically supporting our communities. Our people worked hard and sacrificed to create those businesses for the community and their families. In one night, everything is taken away including their business, dreams, freedom, liberty, etc.; and they are forced into modern-day slavery. Sound familiar?
My point is we must stop ‘Black on Black’ crime. If we don’t care about our lives and how we live with each other, nobody else will. Yes, we can argue that this self-defeating negativity is the result of programming many generations, but when will it end? The solutions start from within—self-responsibility and accountability. The solutions will NOT come from some human savior, government, or mass media. Each of us must take a personal stand/commitment to say ‘enough’ violence against my Brother and Sister. This is what true Unity is all about. First, have Faith, then love and embrace yourself and your community, especially our youth. Together, we can stop the madness. Think about it.
